StudSheet is run by [StudSheet LLC] in New Jersey, for people in the United States and Canada.
StudSheet is not an emergency service. If you smell gas, leave the building first, then call 911 or your gas utility from outside. For sparking wires, a fire, or anything that might collapse, get out and call 911.
No. You can plan, save jobs, build lists, use build mode and the Tool Shed without one. You need an account to post in the community, sync devices, share loadout logs, send or answer quote requests, or join a pro's crew in the app.
Yes. StudSheet works anywhere in the United States and Canada. Set your state or province, and feet and inches or metric, in Me → Settings → Where you work. Quote requests work in both countries, wherever verified pros have joined.
Without an account, everything stays on your device. If you delete the app or clear your browser's data for app.studsheet.com, it's gone, and we can't get it back. To keep jobs safe across devices, sign in: your jobs then sync to your account, which is stored in the United States.
Check your spam or junk folder.
Wait a minute, then tap Send a new code, and use the newest code.
Codes work for one hour.
Make sure the email address is spelled right.
Still stuck? Email us from that address.
No. A Sheet is a planning estimate. Measure carefully, follow product instructions, and check your town's codes and permit rules. Work like electrical, plumbing, gas, HVAC and structural changes is for licensed pros: StudSheet shows homeowners what's involved and how to get quotes instead of DIY steps.
Please tell us. Every Sheet has its own link. Copy the link (or take a screenshot) and email it to us with what looks wrong. We fix calculator mistakes quickly.
Your request goes to the lead board, where only pros registered and verified in StudSheet who cover your area and that kind of work can see it. They see the job and the area, not your name or contact.
Up to 3 pros can answer. A pro who answers gets your name and contact, and you see their message and business details in Jobs → My quote requests.
If no pro covers your area yet, the app tells you before you send. Your request stays open for 30 days in case one joins.
Asking is free and you don't have to hire anyone. Check a pro's license and insurance before you sign. StudSheet isn't part of the deal.
For home improvement jobs over $500, New Jersey requires a written contract, and you can cancel before midnight of the third business day after you receive your copy. See section 10 of our Terms of Use.
Sign in, switch to Pro, set your trades and service area in Me → Settings, then apply for a verified badge (we check your license or registration and insurance). Answering requests is free at launch. See app.studsheet.com/leads/join.
Pros can connect their own Stripe account in Me → Settings → Payments so clients can pay invoices by card from the client link. The money goes straight to the pro's Stripe account; StudSheet takes no fee and never sees card numbers. Refunds and disputes are handled in the pro's Stripe dashboard. Clients: questions about a payment go to the pro who sent the invoice.
The card in the community tab is either a paid spot (labeled Sponsored) or our own card (labeled From the makers of StudSheet). Your device picks it from the area you set; nothing about you is sent and we don't count views or taps. To buy the spot for your business, tap Advertise here on the card.
Report a post, comment or profile: tap ••• then Report. We review reports within 24 hours.
Block someone: tap ••• then Block. Their posts disappear for you right away.
Intimate image of you posted without consent: use Report → "Intimate image of me", or email us with the subject "Intimate image removal". No account needed. We remove valid requests within 48 hours.
Disagree with a moderation decision: email us with the subject "Moderation appeal".
Only you. Client cards, crew cards, jobs, estimates, invoices and job photos in Pro mode are private to your account. Crew members you invite see only what each job shares with them, never prices. A client link or an equipment page can be opened by anyone who has it, until you turn it off.
In Me → Settings → Pro mode, add your GST/HST registration number (and your QST number in Quebec); StudSheet prints it on your estimates and client reports.
StudSheet only sends the reminders you turn on, like dry-time timers and maintenance reminders. There are no marketing notifications. Turn reminders off in Me → Settings, or in your phone's settings.
The camera is used for job photos, receipts, trying paint colors and, on iPhones and iPads with a LiDAR scanner, scanning a room. All of it is processed on your device. StudSheet asks for your location only when you tap Check the weather here on an outdoor job, and sends a rounded point only to the weather service. To change either, use your phone's settings for StudSheet.
StudSheet may ask whether you'd share anonymous usage stats (which screens and features are used). Nothing is sent unless you say yes. Change it any time in Me → Settings → Usage stats.
In the app: Me → Settings → Delete my account. Without the app: app.studsheet.com/delete-account.
